Designing Italy Process

Designing a customized Italy trip can start as early as 9 - 12 months prior to your departure.  Itineraries requested for less than 2 months may require a "fast track" additional charge. The process will help you create a new awareness of experiencing Italy in a richer way.

Initial Phone Meeting

We schedule an initial call to discuss information from your Consultation Form and identify your travel goals and needs.  At this time you will receive a price quotation for services.  Once you engage Designing Italy’s services you will receive a detailed questionnaire to gather further personal input.

Designing

You will receive a personalized working calendar with recommended days in each base to serve as a foundation for your expanded itinerary. 

Lodging, Transportation & Activities

Once the calendar is set and approved, you receive lodging recommendations matching your travel style and budget. In this phase we weave in the activities, both structured and independent such as an Italian cooking class, reserved tour of the Vatican, museum reservations, and schedule special coaching calls and communicate via email as needed.
 

Review and Evaluate

Together we will review and evaluate each step so that you are completely satisfied with your upcoming travel arrangements and are prepared for your Italian Travel.

You escape stress free and educated to embark on the trip of your dreams fully prepared to enjoy your Italian Adventure with a final itinerary outlining all details of your trip.
 

Debrief

Once you return from your trip we set up a call to debrief your trip and share memories of your time in Italy.  This is an important part to come full circle from beginning to end!
